About Comments
The ultimate goal of the Creightonian is to provide the Creighton University community with a free flow of information, and we are committed to this goal. As an entire staff, we want to ensure our readers have the opportunity to participate in the conversation online. The following is our Online Comment Policy.
The best way to provide our readers with the capability to interact is to allow and encourage our readers’ comments on stories, photos, videos and all online content. While we encourage the freedom of expression for all readers, we also recognize that some conversations can descend into negative discussions. We reserve the right to delete comments that violate the policy described below. Editors, reporters and members of the Creightonian staff will not post comments or answer questions asked in the comments section. To contact an author, click the link below.

  • Respond to others’ comments on the article
  • Have a positive/constructive tone
  • May disagree with the article, but do not personally attack the writer or others who have commented
