Creighton head coach Jim Flanery did not see the loss as any reason for his team to be disappointed.
βWhether we won or lost I couldnβt be more proud of them,β Flanery said, βThe team that we are today is so much better than the team that we were in October. In my 20 years in coaching, Iβve never had a team thatβs improved more.β
