As a Jesuit university Creighton is known for its philanthropy throughout the year. Even during this busy holiday season many organizations and residence halls haven’t forgotten the spirit of giving.
“We had the Family to Family Christmas program where our goal was to raise $1100 for a family of nine children and their mother,” president of Gallagher Hall and Arts & Sciences freshman Molly Misek said.
Gallagher residents raised a total of $900, which was used to purchase each member of the family a comforter, boots and toys plus a warm meal. Many other activities such as Gallagher Hall’s hat, scarf, glove and mitten drive or Kiewit Hall’s angel tree were a big success on campus as well.
