On a street corner teetering on the edge of downtown, there is a new and trendy small business making an impact on Omaha’s wellness community. The Grove Juicery and Wellness Cafe opened on May 28th with the goal of providing a variety of nourishment for a sharp mind, glowing body, healthy heart and happy soul.

Housed in one of Omaha’s more historic buildings at 24th and Farnam, The Grove’s interior is filled with natural light from massive windows, creating a bright and airy atmosphere throughout the shop. Paired with the minimalistic bohemian style and free wifi, it’s the perfect study escape for Creighton students stressing upcoming finals.

The Grove is open every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. They are located on 2401 Farnam St. within a mere walking distance from Creighton’s campus.

Stop by and grab one of their famous Instagram worthy Açaí (ah-sah-ee) bowls made with granola, banana, coconut flakes and an Açaí blend, or try one of their fresh made, tastefully refreshing juices.

Not quite to your liking? No worries! The Grove serves an array of items including pure, raw, nutrient-packed cold-pressed juices, vegan milk, snacks and a variety of wellbeing provisions. Everything on the menu is organic, locally sourced, made fresh and bottled in-house daily.

The Grove was born from the passion of Meghann Schense, an international fashion consultant, who decided to follow her love for health and wellbeing and open a juicery in Omaha.

Those seeking the wellness lifestyle must also expect the costs that are associated with healthy living. The Grove’s menu items tend to lean toward the expensive side with an 8-ounce bottle of cold-pressed juice such as the Garden Grove costing around $6 and a 16-ounce bottle costing $11. Because of their homemade policy, their items can be more pricey than some of the other wellness places out there.

However, when it comes to the atmosphere, The Grove is unbeatable; it is the perfect place to study or to simply chill and enjoy the ambiance of this cute and trendy spot.
