Yesterday, I took part in and helped organize a student demonstration against hate speech on Creighton's campus. The demonstration comes after Creighton approved Dr. Mark Christian to speak on campus as a part of a panel on immigration.

As editor in chief of the Creightonian, I have not and will not edit any stories related to this topic. I've recused myself from being a part of any story on the panel, demonstration or other related events.

Christian is the founder of the Global Faith Institute, labeled an anti-Muslim hate group by Southern Poverty Law Center.

Hate speech, and anti-Muslim rhetoric, is simply unacceptable on our campus. Christian's attacks on Islam should not have been allowed on Creighton's campus, where students of all religions deserve to freely express their faith.

However, I want to ensure this topic is covered fairly and accurately, so I have tasked other editors and reporters to direct coverage of this topic.

Hate speech that was delivered by someone crazy at the Creighton's campus was a very bad thing. I am looking for High-Paying Jobs for People Who Love Writing right now. How our educational institutions are even tolerating such kind of actions. Anti muslim speech or any other such speech should be strongly prohibited.
