If you’re craving some spicy, savory tacos but not sure where to go, look no further because here are five honest reviews of where you should go for your next bite in Omaha.

Mula has some of the best tacos around, and I would debate anyone on that. This restaurant is located in the Blackstone District and is sure to please. The happy hour here is great for discounts on both drinks and food. The tacos are packed with flavor, and make sure to order queso for a perfect combo. Mula tops my list on places to visit with friends and family.

Taco Co.

These puffy shell tacos are packed with toppings. If you want something outside of the normal hard- or soft-shell tacos, this location should be the top of your list. The interior of the restaurant includes swings for seats and lively colors, but one of my favorite parts of Taco Co. is the outdoor seating area. Order the Dip Flight to share with friends, and you won’t be disappointed.

Hook and Lime

At Hook and Lime, my order always includes the Rajas Con Queso, which comes with fried avocado flatbread. The flavorful drinks make this restaurant a top contender in my books. Overall, these tacos have unique flavors and fresh tasting ingredients. Hook and Lime also features savvy deals during its happy hour times for those of us eating on a budget. When the weather allows, this restaurant also features an outdoor seating area.

Burrito Envy and Tequila Bar

If you find yourself craving a taco and a deal late at night, Burrito Envy and Tequila Bar is the place to go. This restaurant features not only a happy hour, but a reverse happy hour, and for me, that alone puts this place on the map. Here you can find some of the best deals in town without sacrificing flavor in your food and drink. Come here when you need a quick bite on a budget.

Voodoo Taco

Voodoo Taco would have to be low on my list of favorite places to grab a taco. It offer fair prices and quick service, but the tacos were lacking the burst of flavor other competitors feature. Voodoo Taco could be worth a second try, but as for now, this is not a top recommendation of mine when you’re craving a flavorful bite to eat.
