Twentieth-ranked St. Louis topped the Jays Tuesday 25-17, 25-16, 25-22.
The Billikens had 49 kills, six aces, 52 digs and three blocks compared to the Jays’ 25 kills, one ace, 53 digs and 8.5 blocks.
Senior middle blocker Jessica Houts led with seven kills, and MVC defensive player of the week Allie Oelke had 18 digs.
Houts also set the new Creighton career records for sets played (430) and matches played (120). In a year of strong blocking, Creighton also set a new school record for block assists in a season with 480.
