Get your chopsticks ready!
On Wednesday, Jan. 20 from 5-8 p.m., there will be a reception for the new art exhibit, “Asian Beauty Trespassing Borders,” opening in the Lied Center gallery. The show will feature paintings from four prominent Chinese artists and will run until March 13.
I have been informed there will be a local sushi chef present at the reception to make approximately 750 pieces of sushi for all guests at the event. In addition, there will be many Asian-inspired appetizers, traditional Chinese music and several different varieties of tea to sample.
