Back in October, Starbucks began converting its Tazo tea bags to a new line-up of full-leaf teas.
With hopes of balancing Starbucks fan’s yin and yang, the new tea sachets have been found to be better for brewing and Tazo teas are using better quality (and harder to find) whole tea leaves, spices and botanicals. Most of the blend flavors will stay the same, with a couple new flavors added in January.
It’s still too early to tell if this change will be effective or turn tea fans to unique and less mainstream coffee houses, but this is a step up from the standard and shows that Starbucks cares for the quality of their products.
