OTD Valentine’s Day bake sale spreads love

The Occupational Therapy Doctorate class of 2014 will hold a bake sale this Valentine’s Day.

The bake sale will last from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in Sara’s Place inside the Boyne Building.

This is the second year the bake sale has taken place and everyone in the class helps participate. They can either sign up to make goodies to be sold or work a shift during the bake sale.

Not only will they have walk-up sales this year, they also sent out e-mails to collect pre-orders of cupcakes, which will contain personalized notes of the sender’s choice to their sweetheart.

β€œThe class is actively baking and making sure we’re producing the most yummy cupcakes, cookies, and choclately goodies out there,” Stephanie Birch, class secretary, said.

All proceeds will go into the class account, and as class they vote on where to donate or use the money. Some of the funds also help with things such as the class service project.

β€œ…having fun with our classmates while working the bake sale,” is Lacie Winther’s favorite part. Winther is the Vice President of the 2014 Class
