Kaleb Joseph spent the last two seasons at Syracuse, but hopes to right his ship at Creighton. He will have two years of eligibility remaining after satisfying transfer requirements and sit out the 2016Β-17 season. Joseph is a 6Β3 guard from Nashua, N.H., had an instant impact during his freshman season at Syracuse. He started 30 out of 31 games averaging 5.9 points and 3.8 assists. As a sophomore his playing time depleted after experiencing on the court troubles.
This recent Syracuse team went to the final four this season and Joseph was not a heavy contributor avg 0.9 pts and 0.6 ast. Joseph turned to Creighton to turn his ship around. Coach Greg McDermott issued a statement saying, βWe are very excited to add someone with Kalebβs character and athletic ability to the Creighton family…He will fit in well within the Creighton University community and the city of Omaha. We are excited to welcome he and his family into the Bluejay Family.β The buzz around Joseph in Omaha is positive.
