Career cram sessions offered this week

Creighton’s Career Center is giving students a jump start on the job market by offering several Career Cram Sessions this week in Harper 2015.

The “cram sessions” are aimed at helping students and recent alumni become active in their search for jobs. Each cram session is 30 minutes and covers the basics of the job search, including how to use Jobs4Jays. The sessions also include information about other services the Career Center provides for students struggling to gain a foothold in the increasingly competitive job market.

Jim Bretl, the director of the Career Center, is in charge of the Cram Sessions every night this week and will be guiding students through the finer details of the career search. The sessions will stress the importance of beginning the search early and gaining experience ahead of time in order to make the students better candidates in the job market.

Cram session times are Tuesday at 3 p.m., Wednesday at 6 p.m., Thursday at 5 p.m. and Friday at 2:30 p.m.
