As a proud alum of CU, I am very disappointed that the administration would succumb to pressure from students who clearly have no perspective or greater world view.  I myself, am saddened that the university would put themselves out there to be subjected as hateful when everything about Creighton as a Catholic-Jesuit school seems to be in tact.  What makes me angry is that judging others is something that the bible tells us not to do -that the teachings of Jesus are enriched in love for one another.  I think this debate is truly one-sided and it seems to me that this student group (CSU) took on this stance because they themselves do not feel comfortable around all people.

It’s been about 10 years since I last set foot on Creighton’s campus and I am excited about all of the changes, but I would hope the university respond or at least reconsider their position and at least apologize to parts of the student body that are now hurt by this step in the wrong direction.
