Men top Tulsa 2-1

The seventh-seeded Jays defeated the unseeded Tulsa 2-1 on Tuesday night, advancing to the third round of the NCAA tournament and extending their unbeaten streak to 14 games.

The Jays started strong with a goal by senior Andrei Gotsmanov 36 seconds into the game. Senior Seth Sinovic scored the second goal for the Jays in the 36th minute of the game, giving the Jays a 2-0 advantage. The only goal for the Golden Hurricanes was scored by Austin Neil in the 86th minute.

The Jays take on Connecticut in the third round of the tournament on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Morrison Stadium.
