As a member of the Reinert-Alumni Library staff, it was disconcerting to read about The Study as an “alternative to the library [that] offers assistance in virtually every academic respect” (21 November 2008). The article does acknowledge the Writing Center. I hope your readers recognize that the Reinert-Alumni Library also serves a unique and vital academic role by providing one-on-one research assistance from experienced librarians, in addition to space for individual and collaborative study.
