The Bluejays lost their second extra-inning game of the season, falling 5-4 in the finale of a four-game series against Sam Houston State.
The Jays took a 4-3 lead in the top of the 11th after senior first baseman Darin Ruf hit a sacrifice fly, which drove in junior outfielder Robbie Knight. Knight went 3-4 in the game.
The Bearkats bounced back in the bottom of the 11th, putting the first three batters on base. They scored the game-winning run with two outs.
The next stop for the Jays is Phoenix, Ariz. for the Phoenix Classic. They will face Dayton on Friday at noon.
