Students need to watch out for the safety of their bikes when leaving them on campus somewhere.

In the latest edition of the Creightonian, six bikes were reported stolen in the Campus Safety Report. Why? Who knows.

I am in no way discouraging students from riding their bikes, but I am warning them to watch out for their belongings. Remember, Creighton is not an isolated campus. People not affiliated with the university in any way can waltz right onto campus without sticking out. People do it all the time for mass, speakers or other events.

So just remember, although you may respect other people’s property, be sure to protect your own.
