Being a student can have it’s major downsides. I am extremely into cute chic material possessions, but severely lacking all the money to pay for them. Being an 18-credit-hour student has really put a damper on my shopping sprees.

But, there is a solution! After numerous months of scourging the internet for inexpensive and chic do-it-yourself sites, I have found salvation!

It comes in the name of Design*Sponge. Not only does this site offer tons of cute DIY projects, it also showcases some home decorating techniques that you can use once you pay off all of those student loans (so in about 20 years).

Also, being a student of photography, I am absolutely in LOVE with the site Photojojo.com. Photojojo is an entire archive of DIY photography tools, and it also hosts great tutorials for some pretty sweet picture ideas.
