The Jays beat the Bears 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Morrison Stadium.
Two of the Jays’ three goals were scored on penalty kicks. Junior midfielder Emily Orbell scored the first goal of the game on a penalty kick in the first half. Sophomore defender/midfielder Erin Gunther scored the second penalty kick for the Jays in the second half. Junior midfielder/defender Claire Zach scored the final goal of the game off a corner kick from Gunther.
The Jays return to action October 11 at Northern Colorado.
