The Olympics have raised a lot of speculation about hockey. And being that I was born in Minnesota (mom is practically Canadian- she grew up in Duluth) and my dad played hockey, I found this fact interesting: About 60% of hockey sticks sold in Canada are for left-handed players. Take that stat and flip it in the U.S.: roughly 60% of sticks sold are made for right-handed players. Odd? Maybe, but Canada has a pretty decent team so it doesn’t seem to be hindering them at all. Besides, I’m left-handed, so I totally approve.
