Christmas at Creighton comes with new surprises

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…at Creighton!

With Christmas right around the corner, Creighton University’s Inter Residence Hall Government (IRHG) has been busy planning a Christmas celebration that will steal the hearts of its students.

β€œThe theme this year is The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” Clarissa Parker, the executive director of diversity and leadership of IRHG, said. Set for Dec. 3 at 4:45 p.m. until 8 p.m., Christmas at Creighton will be a mix of activities from past Christmas’s, along with a few new surprises.

β€œWe have a lot of things in the workings, such as reindeer and photo booths again, and we still have a few things that we have to wait to divulge until they are confirmed, but I’m excited for them,” Parker said.

Adam Schmidt, the executive director of Community Outreach for IRHG, said that Sodexo will be serving a large variety of food at the traditional Christmas Dinner.

Schmidt, along with Parker and the other executive directors, will stand together at the opening ceremony and the lighting of Creighton’s campus as well as help the event run as smoothly as possible.

β€œI’m excited for what our awesome team has in store and for the new aspects to be added,” Parker said. Β Β
