Take a break from Creighton University- watch Cypress-Rhodes University

Looking for something to do on Monday nights for the next few months? Tune in to ABC and check out their returning hit TV show ‘Greek’ every Monday night at 9 P.M.

The show, now in its third season, details the lives of 8 college students as they navigate through their classes, relationships and, most importantly, their respective Greek organizations. Full of humor, plot twists and, of course, drama, this show is a great excuse to take a break from Monday night homework.

Casey Cartwright (Spencer Grammar) and Rusty Cartwright (Jason Zachar) star as a brother and sister pair at Cypress-Rhodes University. Casey, a stereotypical sorority girl, learns do deal with her changing social dynamic as her brother Rusty begins to attend the university during her junior year. Rusty is Casey’s polar opposite; he is a polymer science major who, on a whim, decides to rush a fraternity. Throughout the show’s three seasons, Casey struggles to come to terms with her brother’s new identity while Rusty learns the ropes of an entirely different world.

The show first aired on ABC in July of 2007, a series specifically targeted towards a large audience of college students. Creator Sean Smith describes the show as a, “Hit dramedy about growing up.”

Even if you have never watched the show before, you can catch up quickly with “cram session” videos on ABC’s website. Check them out, and happy procrastinating!
