The Creighton men’s soccer team took on the University of South Florida Dec. 4 at Morrison Stadium after the game was postponed due to heavy snowfall on Dec. 3. The game was tied in regulation but senior Ethan Finlay came up with the ‘golden goal’ in the 97th minute of play leaving the Jays with a perfect 14-0-0 record at Morrison Stadium this season. Senior goalkeeper Brian Holt earned his 43rd career shutout against the Bulls, and in the process set an NCAA record in that category. The team heads to Hoover, Ala. to play on Friday at 5 p.m. against the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
